Like a lot of advisors, Brad Cooper spent his days buried in the work itself. He was doing it all and deciding it all while the business was running entirely through him. That all changed when he read The E-Myth, a book about the importance of working on your business rather than just in it.
From that point on, Brad carved out every Friday to work on his business. He soon realized that real growth depended on genuinely committing to the things he’d been putting off: hiring and training people, creating specific and repeatable processes, and tracking marketing dollars to see what was actually working.

As part of that new mindset, Brad began taking a day each year to travel to Gradient’s headquarters and meet with specific Gradient partners.
“I can’t tell you how valuable that was,” Brad says. “Getting the chance to dig in and get advice and insight into how I could transform my business into something that wasn’t dependent on me being in the office, me doing all the work, me making all the decisions.”
